The Syd Norman’s band is fun and full of energy making this venue one of the more popular spots on the ship. If you want to catch a show here, be sure to arrive early and we mean early. With his set finished right around 9 PM, we squeezed into Syd Norman’s Pour House to catch a few songs before heading to the Prima Theater. The rock band in this venue plays a few different themed sets during the cruise; this evening was the Sail Away set. Since today was a Wednesday, Don had a work meeting at 2 PM.

On Deck 8, the Soleil Bar serves a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails on tap, including the Whiskey Orchard Press. This is a great bar to enjoy some wake views and perhaps a sunset. Further, the Improv at Sea offered comedy shows on three nights of the cruise. Given the venue is small, there may need to be additional shows on future sailings to accommodate all cruisers. On the off nights, the Improv at Sea hosted game shows and doubled as a night club.

We're very excited that we might be "coming on down" in Norwegian Prima's theater/nightclub with a first-to-the-line of four classic game shows. Highlights will include a customizable seating layout and huge moving LED screen that lowers from the ceiling and is nearly half the size of the venue. All public areas and suites in The Haven have been designed by Piero Lissoni, one of Italy's top designers and for the first time, all face the sea.

The Norwegian Prima was built in 2022 and has a capacity of 3,099 guests at double occupancy and 1,506 crew members. To check in online, you’ll need your passport and a credit card to put on file for anything you purchase on board. You’ll also need a photo of your face to upload for security purposes. I had some issues doing this because the photo I tried to use did not meet the parameters, but if the upload doesn’t work, an employee can take a photo at the pier.

NCL debuted on Prima its own gin brand "'66 by Norwegian" (sustainably sourced, distilled and bottled in Nicaragua) named after NCL's founding year (1966). The new '66 Gin was first offered at Prima's Metropolitan Bar (aft-starboard on Deck 7). A new draft beer ('66 by Norwegian) was also introduced on Prima and first served at the Soleil Bar (aft of Deck 8). The new '66 beer (brewed by the 2002-founded, Athens GA USA-based Terrapin Beer Company) is with a citrus flavor.
While the closet might be bigger overall, the actual storage space is still lacking. There are three small closets with a clothes rack and hangers. However, there are no shelves and only small wire basket drawers.

Norwegian has moved its relaxation room and fitness center to the bow of the ship for the first time.
One that is missing is Moderno, the Brazilian all-you-can-eat steakhouse. The two main dining rooms are smaller than the MDR on other NCL ships. The Commodore Room and Hudson’s appear to be more in line with the size of Taste and Savor on other ships. It had tons of outdoor spaces, but not many large spaces for people to gather.
After making several laps around in attempt to secure a table, we headed outside. Luckily, the weather was nice so we didn’t mind dining outside. Unfortunately, we were informed that the media passes were first come, first serve each day. This meant we would have to go to the spa right when it opened on that morning to get our passes.
